Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment, receiving treatments, or using the services of Mode Laser Skin Clinic Ltd ("Mode Laser Skin Clinic," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms of service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Mode Laser Skin Clinic Ltd is registered in England and Wales and operates from Essington Clinic, 132 Birmingham Road, Lichfield, WS14 9BW.

Our Services

Mode Laser Skin Clinic provides aesthetic treatments including but not limited to: Laser and IPL hair removal; Tattoo removal; Skin rejuvenation treatments; Injectable treatments (Botox, dermal fillers); Skin treatments (microdermabrasion, chemical peels, micro-needling); Removal of skin tags and minor lesions.

All treatments are performed by Kathryn Lolley, our qualified and experienced practitioner.

Consultations

Free consultations: We offer free initial consultations for most treatments. During your consultation, Kathryn will assess your suitability for treatment, discuss expected outcomes, explain the procedure, and answer your questions.

Medical history: You must provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, medications, and any conditions that may affect treatment. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in treatment being unsuitable or unsafe.

Right to refuse: We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it would not be in your best interest, if you are unsuitable for the procedure, or if you have not followed pre-treatment instructions.

Booking and Appointments

Booking: Appointments can be made by telephone (07968 192 893) or through our website contact form.

Confirmation: Your appointment is confirmed once we contact you with a date and time.

Preparation: For certain treatments, you will receive pre-treatment instructions. Following these instructions is essential for safe, effective treatment.

Cancellation Policy

Notice required: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Late cancellations: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

No-shows: Failure to attend your appointment without notice may result in a charge and may affect your ability to book future appointments.

Our cancellations: In the unlikely event we need to cancel your appointment, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time.

Payment

Payment timing: Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted methods: We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards.

Course payments: For treatment courses, payment terms will be discussed at your consultation.

Refunds: Refunds for treatments already provided are not available. Unused treatment credits may be transferred in certain circumstances at our discretion.

Treatment Outcomes

Realistic expectations: During your consultation, Kathryn will discuss what results you can realistically expect. Individual results vary based on factors including your skin type, medical history, and adherence to pre- and post-treatment instructions.

No guarantees: While we strive for excellent results, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Aesthetic treatments are not an exact science, and individual responses vary.

Follow-up: If you have concerns about your treatment results, please contact us promptly so we can assess and address them.

Aftercare

Instructions: You will receive aftercare instructions following your treatment. Following these instructions is essential for optimal results and to minimise risk of complications.

Reporting concerns: Contact us immediately if you experience unexpected side effects or have concerns following treatment.

Liability

Our responsibility: We take our duty of care seriously. All treatments are performed by a qualified, insured practitioner using professional-grade equipment.

Limitation: Our liability is limited to direct damages arising from our negligence. We are not liable for: Results that do not meet your personal expectations where treatment was performed correctly; Complications arising from failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions; Complications arising from information you failed to disclose; Indirect or consequential losses.

Insurance: We hold appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Medical Concerns

Not medical advice: Information on our website and in consultations is for educational purposes and does not replace medical advice from your GP or specialist.

When to seek help: If you experience severe or unexpected reactions following treatment, seek medical attention and inform us.

Referral: If during consultation or treatment we identify concerns that require medical attention, we will advise you to consult your GP or appropriate specialist.
